French River Fire Department uses First Due to coordinate volunteer response, readiness checks, and incident command across two stations and a wide rural service area.
"The responder app changed everything... it does our response, our equipment checks, our training review—and we can chat with the members."

French River Fire Department is a volunteer service in Northeastern Ontario with two stations, a large rural footprint, and seasonal population swings.
The department needed a modern online platform while managing volunteer response from home, two-station logistics, and paper-based equipment notes and maintenance follow-ups.
French River moved fully onto First Due and expanded into Mobile Responder, Assets, Training, Pre-Incident Planning, Inspections, and Incident Command.
Mobile Responder gives members a shared picture of who is going where, work orders can be submitted immediately, and guided reporting can reduce incident documentation to less than five minutes.

First Due Incident Command helps Incident Commanders assign resources in seconds and keep accountability connected to units, incidents, notes, and documentation.
